Overall the QiYi MS and MP are very similar yet have very unique feels. The newer MP 2x2 feels very glossy compared to that of the older MS (which is more of a frosted texture). Both MP and MS 2x2 cubes come in at 50mm which is the preferred size for most 2x2 speed solvers. 

The QiYi MP 2x2 features a cross-hatch type pattern on the corner contact surfaces to help spread lube and keep the puzzle enjoyable, the older MS does not have any sort of indentation at these contact points.

Magnetic Strength - Both MS and MP feel similar in terms of the magnetic strength, the main difference on this front comes down to the depth of the magnets. The QiYi MS' magnets are hidden behind the plastic and actually inside the corner. The MP on the other hand have exposed magnets which can be seen on the "Core" tab above.

Feel - The QiYi MS 2x2 feels blocky and clunky out of the box which isn't always a bad thing. It has been one of our best sellers EVER in the 2x2 category and it's definitely a brilliant choice of cube. The MP however, feels light and airy our of the box and has huge potential to become a go-to 2x2.
